WE ARE CENTERED IN SCRIPTURE

1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up"

 

We want to be in ministry with you.  Not minister to you.

 

We read, pray, worship and do our best to love each other. 

We hope you will join us.  

OUR AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

This is what we call "The Apostle's Creed."

It is a summary of what we believe about God.

​

We believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

​

We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.


*the original meaning of the word catholic, which means "universal"

PRAYER IS WORSHIP

​

The men meet on Saturday.  The women on Monday.  We share our problems, hopes, worries, and our dreams.  Then we pray together.  God has promised that if we pray, He will answer.  We promise that we will help if we can.  You will make friends here. 

GIVING YOUR TIME IS WORSHIP

​

Carving out time for what is important is one of the hardest things we can do, but it is worth it.  There are many ways to give your time.  When you give your time you  will be blessed.  We will be blessed together.

SINGING IS WORSHIP​

 

It doesn't matter how well you sing. Making a joyful noise brings you closer to God because you are singing from you heart. Join us and sing from your heart. 

HELPING OTHERS IS WORSHIP

 

​Jesus commanded us to love your neighbor as your self.  When you help others, you are worshiping God.  We have many ways to help here.  If you have an idea, bring it to us.  We are always looking for more ways to help.
